Our Fouga Magister is stationed just 40mn North of Paris, and 2,5 hours from the Channel Tunnel. The Fouga Magister is probably the most easy and agile plane to fly. With its twin engine it is also one of the safest. Its V tail is its signature... The Fouga Magister has been a favourite of many air forces and display teams, including the Red Arrows and the Patrouille de France. Get into the cockpit of the legendary jet fighter.
Depending on the duration of flight that you select, you will enjoy various sceneries. In 30mn, we fly over the Bay of Somme, with its rolling hills and ponds. With 60mn, we fly towards the coast of Normandy and the white cliffs of Etretat. Both sceneries are superb. The Bay of Somme allow for low level flying along the hills whereas the sea gives amazing impressions of speed.
Your typical fighter jet experience in the Fouga Magister:
- Arrive around 11am at the aeroclub, we may ask you to come sooner depending on weather conditions
- You will be welcomed by our pilot
- Briefing and flight plan
- You get suited up and learn how to work the helmet, visor, and the communications
- Instruments briefing in the plane.
- Then it is engines on and take off!
The fighter jet flight experience in the Fouga Magister:
- The first phase of the flight is to see how you adjust to manoeuvers. Your pilot will fly according to your G tolerance so that this jet fighter experience remains a real pleasure.
- Then depending on the duration of the flight, you will either experience low level flying along the coast and quick turns over the cliffs or quick manoeuvers along the hills and low level flying in the Bay of Somme.
- After enjoying the scenery at different speeds, time for aerobatics! Try to sustain 5 to 6Gs as you climb for a loop and then turn into a barrel... Experience what fighter pilots do when in dog fights.
- Then we will quietly fly back to land
We will celebrate your fighter jet experience at the end of the day with a glass of champagne...
